To kick off our project on research practices in Scottish island communities we are interested in hearing from any researchers (from any university or location) who have conducted research in the Scottish islands, or who have an interest in doing so in the future. We are aiming to gather as many researchers who have an interest in the Scottish islands as possible, to build relationships among ourselves and get to know each other and our research interests. We hope that through doing this we can build the potential for more collaborations and ultimately for more successful research projects!

Our first Scottish island researcher meeting will be held on the afternoon of the 20th May 2.30-3.30pm, so we hope that many of you will want to join us to hear more about our project and to contribute to the plans for the network.
